Welcome to the Fold Up Decoys Australia Waterfowl Identification Tests. This service is provided free of charge to all waterfowling enthusiasts as a means of improving and testing waterfowl identification skills. WIT Tests draw questions at random from a growing library of photographs, sound clips, video clips, and handbook diagrams, and present them in an easy to use multiple choice format. The challenge is to use your knowledge of game birds, waterfowl and State hunting regulations and correctly identify each of the 22 questions asked. Take the challenge up, put your skills to the test. |

To all current and future hunters, feel free to use this resource as often as you like. We trust that by maintaining your
identification skills you will gain the maximum enjoyment and rewards in the time honoured traditions of waterfowling. Each Waterfowl Test will present you with 22 questions chosen at random from an extensive library of diagrams, photos, sound clips and video clips. You will be asked to identify the species from a multiple choice list, and identify the game status of the bird shown for the selected State. Simply nominate which one you think correctly identifies the species shown, indicate the game status, and continue to the next question. Once you have answered Question 22 simply click the "Finish" button and your score will be calculated and displayed. Sound Clips are included in WIT Testing recognizing that sound is the most common method of identification for many of the species hunted. Sound clips are currently available in Internet Explorer and some early versions of Netscape, click the sound box below to test your browser. To start a new WIT session, simply select a Format and State and click Start to begin.
